Check the product page and docs first - what the plugin does, what it needs (WordPress, PHP, WooCommerce, hosting), and which licence fits your sites.

What you get
A paid licence usually includes:
- The plugin - download and licence key (see the product page for what’s included).
- Updates - for the period shown on the product page.
- Support - email help for our plugin (not general WordPress or hosting advice).
Free plugins on WordPress.org stay free under their open-source licence. Paying us is for the commercial package - licence, updates, and support - as shown at checkout.
Our code is GPL-compatible and built for WordPress. You’re buying licence and support from us, not exclusive ownership of the codebase.
Payment
Prices at checkout are in USD, excluding tax. New Zealand GST (15%) applies when your billing address is in New Zealand. Other taxes may apply depending on your location and will be shown at checkout before you pay. Card and other payment methods depend on our payment provider.
After payment you should get email confirmation with download and/or licence details. Nothing in a few minutes? Check spam, then email us with your order number.
Support

To get a useful reply faster, include your order number, WordPress/PHP/plugin versions, what you expected vs what happened, and screenshots if it helps.
We usually reply within two business days on business days. Tricky theme or host issues can take longer to pin down.
Back up your site before installing or updating anything. We can’t recover lost data if something goes wrong mid-update.
Refunds
Within 14 days of purchase - if the plugin isn’t right for you, email us for a full refund. No awkward questionnaire.
After that window, we don’t offer change-of-mind refunds on digital downloads - except where the law says we must (e.g. faulty or not as described).
Refund requests: contact@carbonbasedstudio.com with your order number. We’ll confirm when it’s processed.
Licences
Each product page shows tiers (single site, multiple sites, and so on). Pick the one that matches how many live sites you’ll run the plugin on.
Licence keys are for you or your clients’ sites - not for resale or sharing publicly. If we refund you, please deactivate and remove the premium plugin from your sites.
Updates & compatibility
We test against the WordPress and PHP versions listed on the product page. We can’t promise every theme, plugin, or host combo will play nice.
Try bigger updates on staging first. If something breaks after an update, tell us straight away.
Privacy
We collect personal information when you buy from us or contact support - typically your name, email address, billing details, and order history. We use that information to process orders, deliver licences and downloads, answer support requests, and keep records we are required to hold (for example tax and accounting).
We do not sell your personal information. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider; their privacy terms apply to card and payment data they process on our behalf.
This site uses cookies and similar technologies where needed for the shop to work (for example cart, checkout, and account session). We do not use public comments, visitor file uploads, or embedded social feeds on this store.
Under the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand), you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, request correction, or raise a privacy concern. Email contact@carbonbasedstudio.com.
